Christopher Columbus

 Christopher Columbus (31 October  1451  to 20 May 1506) was an Italian navigator and colonizer. When he went to America then he was introduced  to the settlement of Europeans in the region.

The city of Genoa, which Columbus was born in Italy ; for this reason Columbus real name is “Cristoforo Colombo “ from Italian language. But when he was went to America in Kyastila state (now Spain) for Queen Isabella , then he was known by the name of Spanish from Kristobal Cristóbal Colón.



Come in India by waterway was create not only a day. It had been  took for a long time.  This way was find out a navigator , named Christopher Columbus. To find out the waterway for coming in India, were there people to join;  Christopher Columbus were one of them famous.  But what is interesting matter you know ? he could not go to India. But his name still have to written by golden word in history. When he went to discovered the waterway to India for up and down , then he discovered a new continent. Columbus discovered America.





Christopher Columbus was born in Italy, in the name of Genoa a port city. To born in sea bass, sea of ad victim of the contract. He went to Portugal too by traveling. He was reading much. He was able to refer to the instructions of the India, resources and asset  by reading book. From that time, he had  come to mind for go to India by discover in the waterway. When he did not help from Portugal’s  king about this matter, he went to Spain. Then he was trying to convince her plan to Queen Isabella.





To heard her plan, Queen Isabella  accepted his request. She would give him all the  necessary   operation for the discovery of the waterway . Then , 3 August of 1492, Columbus started to go ship travel  that  its first  by three  ship; such as Santa Maria, Nina and Pinta.



In 12 August, Columbus was reached in Canary Island. Where he was spending a few days.  In September 6 he started to go from Canary Island and would reached in a biggest  Ocean  at 9 September .





Once the ship master’s were attract to Columbus for angry. Then his chief assistant Pinjan was protect him from accident. Thus, one floating in a flock of birds that once were, the group in going to fly with. They were go along on 12 October, in 1492 on found a land.  Next day, Columbus was stay that Island just mid day. The king and queen of Spain in possession of that land. Down the name of the Island, San Salvador . Columbus thought he came with an Island in Japan. Surely more can be found on the west site of India. But the funny thing is that it was a small Island in Bahamas,  Guanahani . Columbus  cannot understand, he came to a country where were no civilization, man had never largely footprint. Then he discovered the Island in the region around some more.
